H. UPMANN
German banker Herman Upmann established himself as a banker and cigar maker in Havana in 1844 after moving there because he was enamoured with Cuban cigars. Even though his bank folded in the early 1920s, his cigars continue to be prized as exquisite examples of mild to medium-flavored Habano cigars.
Only filler and binder tobaccos cultivated in the Vuelta Abajo zone go into H. Upmann’s blend.
H. Upmann cigars have a mild to medium flavour and are manufactured entirely by hand with long filler from leaves that are supplied from Cuba’s Vuelta Abajo area, which is usually considered to be the best place in the world for cultivating tobacco.
52nd Anniversary of the Tiger
Habanos SA has introduced the H. Upmann Magnum 52 as a celebration.
